My name is Jesse. I have been a designer and crafter my whole life. During Covid, I found my courage and love for quilting. This site and company was formed as a continuous journey into my creative side and passion for working with my hands.

From the time I was ten I was doing cross stitch projects; because I watched my mother do them during our “rest time” as children. I had her completed works throughout our home growing up. Somewhere is a cross-stitch book of Precious Moments that one day I said I would complete as she had done many of them.

As I grew older, my grandmother would give me her DMC collection as her eyesight failed her. She also taught me how to paint. She would knit and do all sorts of crafts. We have blankets and items that she created and cherish now that she is not with us. Another generation of creativity that influenced me.

The one thing I always wanted to do was quilt. My great-grandmother, my great-aunt, and many others in our farming family had made such beautiful quilts. My great-grandmother hand made lace and stuffed animals for family members each Christmas. Christmas morning at her home was a good ole farm family memory. We would play cards, have more people than we can count there, food, and as a child…. we got to pick an animal she created through the year. That was a highlight. I have mine sitting in my sewing room on a shelf. If a new baby was born, they got a piglet. It was a tradition. Sadly, those Christmas’s and piglets ended when I was a teenager, but they made an ever-lasting impression. Something I wanted to hold onto. A gift you make with love.

Once Covid started, I found myself in a little shop looking for a fix for my son’s blanket. Instead, I took a leap that would eventually lead me here…. I started to quilt. With that love, I have worked to open this site to allow others a place to purchase fabrics, patterns, and sewing notions that I love as well. I want to work to build this into a community for people to shop, learn, and be a community. A place where you come because you just love something…
